Retail Banking Associate

The Retail Banking Associate will generate leads, build new and maintain existing customer relationships, resulting in outcomes that define great customer experience. This position will require a thorough understanding of the customer’s transaction requirements and should have experience and training in identifying cross-sell opportunities.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role will support the Branch Supervisor/Manager in attaining branch goals and maintaining a customer-driven sales and service environment.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In the absence of the Branch Supervisor/Manager, assist with the supervision of daily operations.
  • Manages functions related to branch operations and teller functions. Keeps Branch Manager informed of key issues or problems at all times.
  • Ensures branch staff provides prompt, efficient and friendly service to customers ensuring that customer transactions are handled timely and accurately according to guidelines and operating compliance.
  • Performs sales and customer service duties when necessary to ensure prompt, efficient service to customers.
  • Maintains a current understanding of stated procedures and policies, including regulatory compliance issues.

Electronic Banking Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the limited supervision of the Retail Banking Operations Officer, the incumbent is responsible for all related activities in support of Electronic Banking Services. The incumbent must have knowledge and experience with PCs, be articulate, possess an aptitude for figures and demonstrate an attention to detail and accuracy, have experience with Word and Excel. The incumbent must also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Maintain existing customer records and manage daily Online Banking, E-statement and Bill Payment enrollment requests. Prepare monthly reports
  • Coordinate and maintain Mobile Banking deposit capture processes
  • Interact with customers, internal and external, to resolve electronic banking issues
  • Creation of consumer Visa debit cards. Maintain appropriate logs
  • Review business/consumer debit card reports and Shoreline invoice to cards processed
  • Process Reg. E Visa debit card claims. CAMS notifications and review Vantiv. fraud reports
  • Responsible to the enrollment of new ACH and RDC originators and maintain all originator files
  • Preparation, mailing and follow-up of annual ACH and RDC certification forms
  • Process ACH Reg. E disputes/originate manual ACH returns thru Fedline
  • Record daily ACH origination activity and maintain monthly analysis reports
  • Review of daily ACH 1990 reports and disposition of items
  • Review monthly RDC activity analysis reports from branches
  • Monthly/quarterly IOLTA reporting
  • Responsible for the recording of quarterly Pay To Play and annual reporting
  • Responsible for Notary program

SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assist Deposit Operations Officer in the preparation for quarterly and annual examinations
  • Assist Deposit Operations Officer with establishing and documenting department and branch procedures
  • Perform other similar duties, assist and provide back-up support for all Retail Banking Deposit Operations duties required for the efficient functioning of the Department
  • Other duties as may be assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Incumbent must have a minimum of 5 years in a branch/operations setting and have excellent communications skills both verbal and written. Must be proficient in Word and Excel, demonstrate an attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to analyze and resolve problems and be relied on to make sound decisions
